I'm sure it is like this in every job, but I am speaking for my own. In photography, every once in a while you get to capture that one shot... that one really emotional shot that is special for the client in a way that no other shot is. At a recent wedding that I covered, I was able to capture that shot ! You see, the bride contacted me a couple of weeks before the wedding saying that she had just one particular photo that she wanted to make sure we captured the day of her wedding. Of course, I said yes we will ! I asked to see an example of what she was wanting. I assured her that we would get that image for her! The day of the wedding came, and I was actually very excited to be able to get this shot for the bride.... this actually hit me emotionally also. Back story for this image - the bride's mother had passed away before she got married. The bride's bouqet was made to include a photo of her mother, and they had a reserved seat for her right in the front for the ceremony. The bride stated she wanted this made into an image she could keep from her wedding. This is the photo that I took for her.
These are the types of moments that I really enjoy capturing for my client.

This post actually takes place back in November of 2016, but I just now am getting a blog so I am finally writing this post.
I was taking senior photos of my cousin, and on our journey that day, we had a special visitor to his shoot. This adorable, beautiful raccoon began posing for me by a tree. I got some amazing photos of her! |
